Dips File Format

The file format for Dips version 6.0 is all new.

• The main Dips input data file now has a *.dips6 filename extension.

• In addition, a view state file now saves all view state and display setting information per document and has a *.vs filename extension.

However Dips 6.0 can still read and write version 5.0 files.
