Dips > Viewing and Display Options
When you hover the mouse cursor over objects on the stereonet, a popup Data Tip can provide information about the object (for example, plane orientations, set window IDs, cone angle and orientation, etc).
This is controlled by the Data Tips option, which is located on the status bar at the lower right corner of the application window. There are three modes:
Max Datatips - will display the maximum information available for the object
Min Datatips -- will display a minimum amount of information (e.g. object type)
Datatips Off - no data tips will be displayed
To change the Data Tips mode click on the Data Tips option on the status bar until the desired mode is displayed.
